In collaboration with Hudson Valley-based circle facilitator BECCA PIASTRELLI, we’ve gathered a few of our favorite healers, gathering places, and grounding rituals for experiencing travel as transformation, inviting the land to meet you, restore you, and feel like home.
Beating the Cold
BIG TOWEL SPA operates two wood-fired mobile saunas that pop up around the Hudson Valley. Currently set up at Palatine Park in Germantown, you can book a private sweat or heat up alongside your neighbors at one of their community sauna sessions.
Acupuncture+
Based in Philmont, Margaret Hallisey practices FIVE ELEMENT ACUPUNCTURE, a system that emphasizes treating the root cause of illness rather than just symptoms. Based on the idea that the human body is a microcosm of the natural world governed by the 5 elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water), she works to restore you to your natural balance.

Breaking Patterns
Practitioner STELLA FAY hosts monthly Family Constellations Circles at her barn in Ghent, where people come together to explore the burdens and patterns they carry from their family systems. She also offers 1:1 and group sessions in person and online.
Mindful Meanders
The walking trails at WON DHARMA CENTER in Claverack are open to the public for mindful walking from May to November. They also offer a Sunday Dharma service to the community and a Wednesday evening meditation for closing out the day with chi-gong, chanting and silent sitting.
Sacred Spacial Design
Based in Woodstock, THE HOLOGRAPHIC HOME is a healing practice created by Mary Evelyn. Through in-person or remote sessions, she uses feng shui, energy medicine and sacred space design to invite you to connect deeply with your space.
