Training the Mind: Lojong and Mindfulness

Lojong is an ancient approach for training the mind. It is a relational practice in which we cultivate a wise, humble, and loving approach to life. Lojong, meaning "mind training" in Tibetan, focuses on transforming negative mental habits into positive ones through contemplative slogans. The fruits of this practice are immeasurable.

A brand-new Tricycle online course with me offers a practical guide to this training. Over six weeks, you will explore how to develop mindfulness in lojong practice, using the profound Buddhist text Eight Verses of Mind Training as a guide.

Each unit contains around one hour of material to study, as well as contemplative exercises. A new unit will be released each Monday. You are free to study at your own pace, and will retain access to the material.
